We are more then thankful for another great contribute to the bike.
ISR made this super cool prototype break system. The combo consist of Ackes legendary radial 6-piston calibers, attached to special made brackets for the Tolle Engineering front fork.
Grabbing his 320 mm full floating disks. Were the center is integrated with the hub!!! Another super cool Acke invention!
A very cool ISR detail: the left front disk features intergrated abs-sensor slots.
In the rear an ISR 4-piston calibers is hugging a BMW stock disk.

On the handlebar you find another famous ISR-trademark. It's multi adjustable radial clutch and break master cylinder.

The authority in swedish stoping power!

Less than two days left for the Custom Bike Show in Norrtälje and now it's really heating up....

We have received reinforcement of the best. Perka from Plebs Choppers, practically born with a lathe under his arm. And Benna from Tolle Engineering, which is great on just about everything.

Perka the man!
Benna - the one!

Benna Norén from Tolle Engineering took the opportunity to crank out a new
prototype Fork for the nineT. It features one off polished triple trees matched with black lower legs hooked up to a brand new 6 -pot radial caliper combo.

Since 2011 Tolle Engineering has been rolling under new ownership!
This past year they have been busy restructuring the company.

They are committed and pushing hard to secure the Original Swedish Longfork inventor Tolle Engineering as a force to be reckoned with in the chopper and custom bike scene!
They want to take Tolle Engineering to new levels when it comes to quality, design and function! And maintain their legacy as The Authority when it comes to real chopper longforks and adjustable triple trees. Therefore they will continue to push the current product line-up including parts such as the Classic Adjustable Triple Tree (that made Tolle famous back in 1979) and their patented Pop-Up Gascaps.

Now turn has come for the bars and of course we had to make your own. The model became a traditional Clubman style bar, now with a custom touch a'la UCC.

Getting the feel of it.

When you build a bike from Sweden, you just have to work with Öhlins!
They've helped us to develop a new prototype for R Ninet and of course it will be in production soon, actually already in a couple of weeks!

When we were at it, the steering damper just had to be changed as well. It became an Öhlins 2.1.

Checking the lines.
The week ends with a count down clock on the start page... not stressing at all ;)

Seat

Now its time to start forming the rear end . It's hammered out in a 1/16" aluminum plate around a hammer form.

Now the edges are shrinked with the Eckold.

Taking shape ...

The "English Wheel" are perfect when forming the bottom part.

Tank

The tank is cut down for better proportions.

We have reshaped the tank. To line up with the seat and to make it look smaller.

There will be a lot of welding and cutting before this is done.

We decided that the front wheel have to be 19" and a complete fork from Tolle Engineering with their new prototype tripple trees for the nineT.

So we have to build a frame jig, after that it's just some cutting ande welding and its done.

Test ride

You just have to take it out for a spin before tearing it apart.
It a fun bike to ride and the engine character is absolutely right.

We looked forward to a relatively "calm spring", as we for the first time in a many years don't have a bike to finnish to the legendary exhibition Custom Bike Show in Norrtälje, Sweden. A show that is the "start" of the summer for many sweds.

But then we were contacted by BMW Motorrad. They have a new bike called R-nineT. A bike when launched made a succes at BMW. Last year Roland Sands did a concept bike of the nineT. That was a great project and now BMW wants to proceed, and have offered some leading custom builders around the world the opportunity to make their own version of this bike. So when we were asked if we wanted to contribute with a UCC-version, it was an obvious YES!
But it must be ready to ride to Custom Bike Show June 7, 2014.

Now the bike his here and we start brainstorming directly about what should be done. Many ideas, little time. We however quickly came to the conclusion that we have to change the fork, the wheels and the brakes.
So we contacted Benna Norén at Tolle Engineering and Acke Rising on ISR Brakes and they were both thrilled and offerd to make new products a.s.a.p.

No good work without a swedish "fika paus" Anna-Cari, you're the best!
